About Me

Italians love their dessert.

So much so that you don’t ever have to wonder whether dinner will be followed with desserts. The answer is always a resounding Sí, sí!

This is what it is all about for the Italians--

enjoying homemade food with their family using the freshest ingredients.

Growing up in an Italian family we ate a lot!

At every meal dessert was served. Sometimes it was as simple as fresh fruit, other times, Italian cookies or pastries. The Italian recipes passed down to me from generations is something I treasure and love to make.

Another passion of mine is macarons.

While living in Oregon, my family and I would eat at a French restaurant that made the best croissants. I purchased my first macaron at La Provence  and thought, I could make this! I experimented with A LOT of recipes and every method (French, Swiss, and Italian). I ended up developing my own recipe using the Italian method and I’ve been baking macarons for about 10 years.

I hold a Texas Food Handlers certificate, insured, and am a Cottage Food Industry Baker. I am located in the Veramendi Community,

in New Braunfels, Texas.
